Le soleil, ce bijou !
Le soleil, ce bijou !
/dans Joaillerie-Horlogerie /par Florence BernardinFormer Artistic Director at Chaumet, Joëlle Sartout launches for the first time her own collection, « Indian Suns », ethnic pieces of jewellery inspired by the philosophy of Native Americans. Return to sources and harmony are the catch words of her work, characterized by the circle, symbol of life cycle, that you can see in every piece. A vision of happiness imbued with age-old wisdom…
Famille, je vous hais !
/dans Littérature /par Florence BernardinFamily is the subject of four different but fascinating novels… With Becoming Jane Eyre, Sheila Kohler describes the everyday life of the Brontes, while Charlotte struggles with the writing of her Jane Eyre, and reveals her particular relationship with her father, and the love and competition with her sisters. Joyce Maynard tells the story of two families sharing a secret, in spite of which two heroines have to build themselves. The life of these Good Daughters also allows to tell the story of the United States, from the 1950s until now. Last but not least, Dan Waddell offers a new investigation. This time, his genealogist has to dig up the Mormon Church’s history that is far from brilliant. With Blood Atonement, he shows that the past always resurfaces…
