Just three years after opening, “Ammolite-The Lighthouse Restaurant” has been awarded 16 Gault Millau points and have retained their 2 Michelin Star thanks to the chef Peter Hagen and his team.
A treat for all the senses at Europa-Park : within an incredibly short amount of time, “Ammolite-The Lighthouse Restaurant” has made the leap to the top of the gastronomic world and has established itself as a permanent fixture among top restaurants far beyond the region. Peter accepted the challenge and has passed with flying colours. He believes in honest, down-to-earth cuisine, stripped to the basics, interpreted in a variety of ways and seasoned to perfection. The menu combines traditional, Mediterranean and international cuisine. “ We are obviously delighted at being recognised. It motivates us even more to continue on our journey. We are gradually evolved and are now more sophisticated and a little bolder than we used to be – and we have become a real team”, explains Peter Hagen. The native Austrian works to ensure that his dishes always pay tribute to the region and his roots. Fresh seasonal produce and meat and fish with certified quality are an integral part of his recipe for success.
