The Mas des Herbes Blanches One step from the Luberon

In the heart of the Luberon Regional Nature Park is the Mas des Herbes Blanches which sits within a picturesque landscape. Created with a series of small stone houses, this charming hotel offers a soothing atmosphere in a beautiful setting.

Due to its renovation in 2016, the Mas des Herbes Blanches now offers 33 new rooms in eight small houses which are located throughout the park. Beyond the charm of the building and the beauty of the gardens, the Table du Mas is undoubtedly the most essential part of the hotel. At the head of the restaurant is Chef Xavier Burelle who, for three years, has added a personal touch inspired by Provençal flavors. His credo? To choose seasonal products and elevate them according to his inspiration. “I like taking risks by creating bold mixes as it is the best way to achieve excellence,” explains Xavier Burelle. “I am fortunate to have free reign when creating my dishes which is essential in allowing my personality to shine through.” Among his creations is the “Langoustine à la Plancha” which is served with a sweet potato puree or coconut milk emulsion as well as the Squab made with truffle and foie gras. All are part of the Chefs signature dishes which has contributed to the renowned reputation of the restaurant. The talent and creativity of Xavier Burelle is what is making the Table du Mas a gastronomic step impossible to beat.

Finding the balance
The spa Sothys echoes the landscape with its mineral inspired decor and offers guests the opportunity to recharge their batteries thanks to their excellent facial and body treatments. One person rooms as well as rooms for couples, hammam, sauna, jacuzzi fitness facilities and pool with bay windows which look onto the natual landscape are all part of the spa.

Although the Mas des Herbes Blanches has many assets, it also offers a top of the line location not far from remarkable places such as Gordes, Roussillon, Bonnieux, Lacoste and Ménerbes.
